Terms of Use
These terms of use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Stat Sync, a digital experience operated by or on behalf of Lufthansa Innovation Hub GmbH (“we”, “us”). By using Stat Sync you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Stat Sync enables eligible users to submit and manage Status Match requests and related verification steps for participating loyalty programmes. Features, programmes, and campaigns may change. We may suspend or restrict access for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.
Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity carried out under your session. Programme rules, fees, and eligibility criteria of participating airlines and loyalty partners apply in addition to these Terms.
Status Match campaign terms
In addition to these Terms, the following conditions apply to Miles & More Status Match campaigns offered through Stat Sync.
- Only 1 Status Match per person will be permitted under this campaign.
- If you have ever previously received a Status Match with Miles & More, you are ineligible.
- If approved, the Status Match upgrade is valid until 28 February 2027 and extended by meeting the standard Miles & More status requalification terms or completing the communicated challenge.
- In addition to other eligibility requirements, a Status Match will only be granted to applicants whose name matches the records in the Miles & More programme.
- With participation in the campaign, participants acknowledge that the data submitted will be shared with Miles & More for these purposes.
- Only eligible status holders will be approved – refer to the match table and FAQs for the listing of eligible status holders.
- The Status Match offer is limited in number of matches and timeframe at the sole discretion of Miles & More. It may end at any time.
- Members who are approved for a Status Match will not be eligible for any potential subsequent Status Match with Miles & More.
- The awarded Miles & More status may be suspended, revoked or terminated by Miles & More in accordance with the Miles & More programme terms and conditions.
- Miles & More reserves the right to deny the Status Match approval for members who have violated the Miles & More programme terms and conditions in the past.
- Miles & More may take up to 10 business days after approval by Stat Sync before the upgraded status is visible in the member's Miles & More account.
- Approved members will not receive a physical status card for the running status term. The digital status card is available from the time of upgrade in the Miles & More app.
- Miles & More may change the status mapping or eligibility criteria, or suspend the promotion at any time without notice.
- Members who attain a Senator status through this promotion will not receive any eVouchers with the status upgrade and will not be able to use the mileage advance privilege in the running status term.
- Any application where Stat Sync believes the origin account has not earned the status through flight activity qualifying as per the standard programme criteria, or was "chain matched" from another programme, will be declined.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse Stat Sync, attempt to bypass security controls, upload malicious content, infringe others’ rights, or submit false or misleading documentation. We may remove content, block access, or reject applications that violate these rules or partner requirements.
Intellectual property
Stat Sync, its branding, and its content are protected by intellectual property laws. Unless expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials. Partner logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Stat Sync is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Stat Sync. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Third-party services and links
Stat Sync may link to third-party sites or rely on partners for processing. Those services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party content or services beyond our reasonable control.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
